Are those messages copied or moved from the folder they were in? In other words, in order to keep them, do I have to move them to their original location, or can I just delete the mailbox with the messages in them, knowing they're still preserved in their original location?

The "Search" mailbox is a system mailbox and cannot be deleted. Messages in this mailbox are linked to the master copy of the message. The implications of this are listed in this document. |
