Often I will have 100 messages in the junk mail box. Usually about one of these is a valid email message. If you hold the shift key and select multiple messages (20+) then press the delete key all the messages in the junk mail dissappear.

Do be aware that shift-click is going to select a range of messages and not
individual messages. You probably want to use ctrl-click.
What I tend to do is select the OK messages and move them out, then empty the junk mailbox with the menu option (at the time this was written the "Empty Junk Mail" option was only in the beta version). |
