Poco Replying FAQ - Inordinate delay when replying to long messages

Q:It seems to take anywhere from 5 seconds to a full minute or more to either reply or forward an html email such as a newsletter. Is there any way to fix this?

This is a known problem in Poco 2. (Reflowing quoted text is much faster in Poco 3.) In Poco 2, try either of the following:
  1. Turn off the "Reflow quoted text" option on the "Message Text Quoting" tab of the "Program Options" form.
  2. Rather than quoting the entire message highlight the portion of the message that you want to include in the reply.
